Grapes grown in the warm microclimate of the Tapada da Ajuda in the Lisbon neighborhood of Ajuda, overlooking the Tejo river. Urban vineyard of the Higher Institute of Agronomy of the University of Lisbon. Spontaneous fermentation. Aged 4 months in barrels. Limited edition of 880 bottles.
Brilliant, light colored aspect. Fine and complex nose, with citric and yellow stone fruit aromas, light petrol note. Beautiful mouth, medium body, very good freshness, complex fruit and spices. A great terrace wine that also takes on delicious white meat dishes, salads, starters, fish dishes.
“Complex, rich aroma with a lot more to it than many Arintos – grapefruit and a touch of spice. Smells ‘golden’. Creamy, leesy texture with great acidity and good length. Should age well. Drink 2023–2028.”
