Academic Workshops

As former academics now exploring the more practical side of life, we still love to occasionally return to our scientific roots. Joining forces with our former colleagues at the University of California at Berkeley and Paris Sorbonne Panthéon, we host an annual workshop to debate theoretical issues related to wine. In 2021, we focused on the idea of wine as a commodity produced and exchanged within a global urbe. Building on this workshop, in 2022, we focused on the notion of “origin” in wine and winemaking. Check back here regularly to learn about forthcoming events.
