A journey into the fascinating world of wine biochemistry made accessible through lively metaphors and explanations. You will explore how wine is made from grape to glass, which choices winemakers have and how these are reflected in the profile of the wines. The tour is followed by a commented tasting of 5 premium wines made at the winery, using grape varieties native to the Iberian peninsula. The wine is paired with different artisan food including cheeses, cured meat, fresh sour dough bread, fresh water. Vegetarian food on demand.

To keep this human, only two tours per week, with a maximum of 16 participants. During harvest and very busy periods, the timetable may be altered. Option for private tours in other languages and at other times – please send an email to inquire ().

Managing expectations

To taste wines, participants must be at least 18 years of age. Booking start and end times are strict. The tasting event has an allocation of wine included; if you wish to have more, you can purchase this at cellar door prices. We do not feel comfortable with our guests’ getting overly drunk and reserve the right to stop serving alcohol, in line with our cellar door sales conditions. Casual dress code – please no beach wear, no political or sport group colors or symbols. No loud, aggressive, racist or otherwise disrespectful behavior towards other guests or us will be tolerated.
