Made from the Portuguese varietals Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet, this wine is characterised by a dense aroma built of plum, blueberry and wild strawberry, and delicately interlaced with notes of violet, dry fig, black pepper and clove. The secret of its density and elegance is an extended grape-ripening period, due to the unique combination of long hours of sunshine and the cooling effect of both the Atlantic Ocean and River Tagus.
