Slowly ripened Alicante Bouschet grapes grown in the cool Atlantic valley of Riba Frio, about 20km north of Lisbon along the coast, directly next to the ocean. A cool wine of a hot grape, full bodied fruity delight with only 11,5 vol alcohol. Spontaneously fermented in clay amphoras in our cellar in Belém. 3 months post-fermentative maceration on skin, followed by 6 months aging in the same clay amphorae. Pairs well with meat, salads, starters, vegetables stews, umami driven food. Serve at 16-18º C.
