Before becoming a winemaker, Catarina was an evolutionary biologist. She studied the exciting life of the Iberian tree frog. Male Iberian frogs sing to woo females (“<3 quak quak <3”). Catarina found that most females respond to males who sing in the local frog-dialect, but in some rare cases, females fall for the unique spell of a peculiar and exotic foreign male passing by their pond, and love happens. That’s kind of our story, and that’s why the Iberian tree frog is our logo.
